Pie Squared: Irresistibly Easy Sweet and Savory Slab Pies, (Grand Central Life & Style Books)
Pie Squared has set sail for the printers! It’s only a few more weeks, really, until October 23. (I’m so excited, I count in weeks.) The crackerjack marketing and publicity team at Grand Central Life & Style/Hachette publishers is gearing up to get this book some attention. Lovely Jenny Hartin at Eat Your Books included Pie Squared in the October round up. It’s the first official notice for this book o’ mine and it makes me very very happy. Publicity inquiries are being fielded by Nick Small (email@example.com). An event schedule will be available toward the end of the summer. For authors, the preorder stage is critical. In the meantime, I’ve got a September 15 deadline for the next book, When Pies Fly: Sweet & Savory Free Form Pies and Filled Pastries, which will come out in October, 2019. It’s all pies all the time around here and I’m not tired of them yet. The photo shoot (with my favorite team of Christopher Hirsheimer and Melissa Hamiliton) starts next week. I can’t wait to share the hand pies, strudels, and empanadas, the tarts, galettes, and strombolis, and kolaches and knishes, too. It’s a world of dough wrapped deliciousness, coming to you next year.
